ARTFORWARD Green Academy Booklet Published!
The Green Academy Booklet, developed within the framework of the ARTFORWARD Erasmus+ project, has been published to provide a comprehensive overview of the project’s learning experiences that bring together creativity, sustainability, and European cooperation.
The booklet brings together the ideas, experiences, and good practices developed throughout ARTFORWARD, demonstrating how innovative learning approaches can contribute to a greener and more ethical future in the creative industries.
A significant part of the booklet focuses on the experiences gained by students during the Green Academy and the reflections that emerged from these experiences. Through an experiential learning approach, students had the opportunity to explore different dimensions of sustainability through real-life environments, cultural heritage, professional practices, study visits, and collaborative workshops.
The booklet explores key themes that emerged from the students’ learning journey, including circularity, resources, process, authenticity, community and space, responsibility, and designing the future. Students’ sketches, drawings, and personal reflections also demonstrate that the learning process was based not only on theoretical knowledge, but also on observation, experience, critical thinking, and creativity.
The Green Academy Booklet also encourages educators to connect students with real professional experiences, collaborate with sustainable enterprises and local communities, and approach creativity as a collective practice connected to society.
Through ARTFORWARD, we bring creativity, sustainability, and education together to shape a more conscious, inclusive, and sustainable future for the creative industries.
